A taste of Hong Kong

A taste of Hong Kong

There’s fun to be had and great food to sample as Ocean Park Hong Kong introduces its all-new dining festival, Ocean Park Chill Out@The South this week.

Running from Friday (March 17) through April 17 on 19 selected evenings, the festival offers an immersive, multi-sensory experience where guests can feast on a multitude of fine food and savour beverages from around the world, while unwinding beside the park’s beautiful Lagoon and mesmerising fountain. Along with live music and mini concerts, street and cultural shows, themed workshops and a variety of spectacular shows and entertainment, including Ocean Park Hong Kong’s signature Symbio!, a special effects-laden extravaganza, the festival will showcase the essence and beauty of Hong Kong’s south side.
The “All About Sake” zone offers a vast range of delicious sake, from the renowned Juyondai 14th Generation, to delicious, fine and rare brands from Japan and Taiwan. Guests can also savour a range of traditional Japanese delicacies, including luxurious Wagyu beef and signature dishes from Tsukiji Yamataka Seafood Market Hong Kong.
“Pop & Rock Beer Fest” is for beer lovers and featutes a myriad of unique craft beers from around the world, including a comprehensive collection of local labels, brewed by the city’s most fashionable brands. These will be served alongside a wide selection of international street food. Music lovers will enjoy mini-concerts featuring some of the city’s hottest singers and bands.
“In Taste of Excellence”, meanwhile, is the ultimate celebration of fine wine and food. Gourmands will revel in exquisite international cuisine presented by award-winning and Michelin-starred restaurants and chefs, while watching cooking demonstrations and taking part in wine pairing lessons by celebrity chefs.
Guests can enjoy the festival for just HK$168 (Bt765). To enjoy even more privileges, purchase a VIP ticket at HK$688 (Bt3,130) for All About Sake and In Taste of Excellence, or HK$788 (Bt3,590) for Pop & Rock Beer Fest, to enjoy exclusive access to the VIP lounge located in front of the giant acrylic viewing panel of the Grand Aquarium, and enjoy a free flow of hors d’oeuvres, red, white and sparkling wine, beer and soft drinks, as well as enjoy guaranteed access to the Applause Pavilion for a Taiko drum stage show or one of the two mini concerts, and other exclusive activities.
