Thai farm, seafood products showcased in South Korea
The Department of International Trade Promotion’s Office of Commercial Affairs in South Korea has partnered with that country’s second largest hypermarket operator Homeplus to promote Thai farm and seafood products. Products such as baby octopus, mango and frozen shrimp are being promoted at Homeplus’ 142 branches across South Korea this month.
Bilateral trade between Thailand and South Korea last year amounted to US$11.316 billion (Bt393.5 billion), up 1.55 per cent from the previous year.
Of the total, $4.044 billion was for Thai exports to South Korea, while the remaining $7.272 billion was for imports to Thailand.
