Yamazato serves the tastes of spring

As Japan greets spring with its magnificent bloom of cherry blossoms, master chef Shigeru Hagiwara of the Okura Prestige Bangkok restaurant Yamazato will from April 3 to 30 be offering a Gozen lunch menu and a-la-carte dishes featuring the freshest of seasonal delicacies.

In addition to succulent sashimi, the Spring Gozen lunch includes a starter of Asari clams and firefly squid with vinegar and miso, and a soup course of shrimp dumpling with rape seed, shimeji mushrooms, tender stem broccoli, and sakura blossom.  Yamazato serves the tastes of spring
It is also includes assorted tempura and dishes of grilled salmon with saikyo miso wrapped with sakura leaves, plus pork simmered in sweetened soy sauce with bamboo shoots, carrot, taro, snow peas and wasabi. 
The authentic tastes of springtime Japan continue with a selection of a-la-carte items such as HaruOtsukuriMoriawase (ark shell, sweet shrimp, sakura sea bream, tuna, Kurose yellowtail, Japanese egg cockle, and red snapper), Sawara Sakuraebi (Spanish mackerel with sakura shrimp sauce, elingi mushrooms and more) and Hamagurikinmedainamanorinabe (Hamaguri clams with red snapper and nori sea weed).
The lunch costs Bt1,300 and a-la-carte dishes start at Bt400. Lunch is served from 11.30 to 2.30 and dinner from 6 to 10.30.
