The voices behind the mask

The voices behind the mask

Even though the first season of TV’s “The Mask Singer” now done and dusted, fans were quick to find a way to relive the magic of the series by snapping up tickets for three mini concerts that is taking place at Kbank Siam-Ganesha Theatre on the seventh floor of Siam Square One tomorrow (April 2) within 30 minutes of going on sale.

The concert features the four finalists in the reality game show, which was inspired from South Korea’s “Mystery Music Show: King of Mask Singer” and ended on Thursday night. They are Mask Durian, Isara “Tom” Kitnitchee of Room 39; Mask Crow, Jirakorn “Ae” Sompitak; Mask Kangaroo, Palitchoke “Peck” Ayanaputra; and Mask Dragon, Panadda “Boom” Wongphudee.
The four finalists won over both the commentators and the audience at the Workpoint studio.
Mask Durian impressed with magnificent renditions of Alicia Keys’ “If I Ain’t Got You”, Pongsit “Poo” Khamphi’s “Mue Puen”, Apartment Khunpa’s “Mai Roo Jak Chan Mai Roo Jak Ther” featuring Mask Phony and Sam Smith’s “Lay Me Down”.
His “Champ of the Champ” competitor, Mask Crow hit some amazing high notes while performing X Japan’s “Endless Rain”, Y Not 7’s “Thing Rak Long Mae Nam”, Bodyslam’s “Khwam Chuea” featuring Mask Wild Boar and the Cranberries’ “Zombie”.
Mask Kangaroo shows his unexpectedly powerful voice on Beyonce’s “Love on Top”, Michael Bolton’s “How Am I Supposed To Live Without You”, Alicia Keys’ “Empire State of Mind”, Brian McKnight’s “One Last Cry”, 25 Hours’ “Yin Dee Thi Mai Roo Jak”, Pharrel Williams’ “Happy” featuring Mask Durian and Bruno Mars’ “Versace on the Floor” while Mask Dragon surprised with Whitney Houston’s “One Moment in Time”, Beyonce’s “Listen”, Celine Dion’s “I Surrender”, and The Beatles’ “Let It Be” featuring Mask Drone.
