Holidaymakers get ‘cheap’ wheels
Thai Rent a Car Corporation Co Ltd and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) have teamed to offer a special weekday promotion, with prices for renting vehicles starting from Bt550 a day.
Vigrant Amatayakul, deputy managing director of Thai Rent a Car Corporation, said: “In order to help stimulate tourism during the weekdays, we are responding to the TAT’s policy of getting over 33 per cent of tourists to travel on weekdays, by offering a special promotion.”
The fleet includes Toyota Yaris and Nissan Almera (Bt720), Toyota Vios (Bt900 a day) Toyota Corolla Altis (Bt1,020) and Toyota Camry (Bt1,420).
The offer lasts until September 30.
