Big C videos bag YouTube awards

The digital marketing team at Big C Supercenter received three honourable awards from YouTube.

The video clip titled “Dr. Jeab Lalana’s first ever confession – I’m not a child loving beauty pageant” was ranked 7th overall on the YouTube Ads Leaderboard 2016 and was honoured at the 2017 YouTube Summit. 

The award was presented by Google’s head of marketing, Michael Jittivanich, to the country’s most popular 10 video clips on YouTube. 
Another video clip “Hugs, from heart to heart” won the prestigious Festival of Media APAC 2017 Award for the Best Use of an Influencer, where it received a “silver” for its social awareness work for the “Big C, hand a heart to a child” campaign. Apart from the creation of awareness of children with congenital heart disease, the campaign also raised funds needed to operate on 1,500 underprivileged children with cardiac problems.
It was also shortlisted for the Festival of Media Global 2017 Award to be announced in Rome in May for Best Event/Experiential Campaign category and at the Tangrams Effectiveness@Spikes 2017 for the Digital Media and Social categories.
