Making the most of gypsum

Based on the concept of InsideOut Space, the showcase explores the use of innovation in materials. The concept demonstrates Gyproc’s approach to gypsum products and latest product innovations including a complete range of gypsum plasterboard, gypsum ceiling tile, metal system components and powder finishing products, as well as lifestyle product solutions. Gyproc’s booth concept will focus not just on private homes but will offer solutions for inspired home theatre suites, kids’ rooms, kitchens and working/utility rooms.
The booth also offers design ideas in its “mockup” display room, which features products that are thermal resistant, moisture resistant and sound insulated. Products can be used for modern decorative purposes as well as for wall partitioning and ceilings. Gyproc also presents a highstrength drywall solution that has five times the core strength of normal plasterboard.
Other products being highlighted at the event include Gypfill Superjoint, the latest gypsum plaster that comes in white and can be used to join plasterboard, repair cracks and scratches and make surfaces smooth. It also provides excellent colour adhesion making it suitable for painting. Gyproc Glasroc H Ocean is a smart moisture and mouldresistant gypsum board, developed for usage in wet and highhumidity areas. Gyproc Magnetic Plaster, which is ideal for children’s play areas or a home office workstation, is a newly formulated plaster that transforms normal walls into magnetic areas whilst also covering cracks effectively. Gyproc Gyptone Activ’ Air is a ceiling board for the best sound insulation and good indoor climate control in schools, kindergartens, hospitals, shops and offices.
