Sweet sounds for dinner

Talented flautist Linda Chatterton and guitarist Maja Radovanlija entertain on June 27 in a special recital hosted by the Eurasian Grill Fine Dining Restaurant of the Ramada Plaza Bangkok Menam Riverside Hotel.

Chatterton is a two-time recipient and the only flute soloist to win a McKnight Artist Fellowship for Performing Musicians, and she has received many prizes and awards from the Jerome Foundation, the Minnesota State Arts Board and the American Composers Forum.

Radovanlija was born in Belgrade, Serbia and has been playing guitar since the age of nine. Radovanlija completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Belgrade and received her master’s and doctorate of music from Jacobs School of Music, Indiana University. During her studies, she won several prizes at international guitar competitions in Serbia and Bulgaria.

Diners can choose from two three-course sets priced at Bt750 net and including one glass of wine. The selection includes Roasted Pumpkin Soup with Cinnamon Croutons and French Onion Soup with Gruyere Cheese Croutons; main courses of by Pan-fried Sea Bass Potato puree, Green Asparagus and White Wine Cream Sauce and Baked Chicken Breast wrapped in Prosciutto Ham served on Sauteed Spinach and Rosemary Roasted Potato and a dessert of New York Cheese Cake with Raspberry Swirl, Vanilla Sauce and Berry Compote or Dried Apricot and Apple Strudel with Sabayon and Vanilla Ice Cream.
