Amway opens Bt40m distribution centre at TPARK Bangplee 1

Amway (Thailand), local subsidiary of the US-based direct-selling giant, has invested Bt40 million to open a new distribution centre at TPARK Bangplee 1 in Samut Prakan.

Developed by TICON Logistics Park (TPARK), the facility covers more than 10,000 square metres and is fully equipped with digital technology that is believed to take Amway’s business capabilities and operations here to the global level.
“Amway has a strategic plan to further develop our distribution centre and overall logistics management system. This aims to encourage the success of Amway Business Owners, enhance customer experience and build a strong foundation for continuous growth in the future,” Kittawat Ritteerawee, managing director of Amway (Thailand), said on Tuesday.
“We have already moved our distribution centre to the new facility at TPARK Bangplee 1, which provides a space of 10,280 square metres. To make it fully operational, we have spent Bt40 million on installations of innovative work processes and advanced logistics technology in the warehouse in order to achieve globally recognised standards of operation.
“Importantly, the recent move helps shorten time to market, reduce costs and enable more complex operations,” the MD added.
