A love for lobster

Sustainably harvested from the cold waters of the Atlantic off America’s northeast coast, Maine lobsters are known from their unique sweet flavour and tender texture.

Now the lobster is taking centre stage at Up & Above Restaurant of the Okura Prestige Hotel all next month July as Jachnarong Pattharanatornand his team creates a menu of delicious eastern and western-inspired dishes showcasing the king of crustaceans.
Appetisers include the Thai-inspired yam lobster ta kai, a spicy salad with lemongrass, sweet chilli, lime, and mint and poached lobster with spiced pumpkin puree, pistachio dressing and crispy Parma ham. For the main course, Maine lobster is stir-fried with black pepper sauce, capsicum, and coriander; and also stars in a dish of open ravioli with asparagus, tomato, potato, and basil served with a piquant crustacean sauce. Lobster aficionados will also love classic grilled butter lobster with seasonal vegetables and roasted baby potatoes.
The Maine Lobster menu is available daily until July 31 at Up & Above Restaurant for both lunch and dinner. A la carte dishes start at Bt690. Book a table at (02) 687 9000.
