Practice what you preach – produce the evidence

Practice what you preach – produce the evidence

Re: “MSM hides truth about liberal Washington’s swamp creatures”, Have Your Say, June 30.

In a recent letter, I challenged Mr Wilcox to provide evidence to support his previous assertion that the Rothschilds controlled or owned most of the world’s banks, including the US Federal Reserve and most central banks around the world, but so far he has failed to do so. Maybe he assumes that readers of the Letters page will unquestioningly accept his claims, but those of us of a more sceptical inclination might be more difficult to convince.
This will surely also be the case with his latest claim that Alex Jones, an American radio host, “has exposed, with evidence and witnesses, the involvement of the ultra-left liberal establishment in corruption and satanic, pandemic child trafficking”. A brief Internet search reveals that these allegations centred on a Washington DC pizza shop, and that Hillary Clinton was allegedly involved. However, when the shop owner threatened legal action, the controversial Mr Jones apologised and withdrew the allegations, admitting that they were based on third-party testimony. (So much for “evidence and witnesses”).
In his latest letter, Mr Wilcox states that “To confront reality and dig out the truth takes effort, but it is the only way to understand any situation”. How true, and it is high time Mr Wilcox followed his own advice.
