“JOBTHAI.COM” has released the result of its latest salary research showing the average starting salary for new bachelor graduates at Bt11,000-Bt25,000 and vocational graduates at Bt11,000-Bt15,000 while graduates with a degree in Science/Research will likely earn the highest starting salary of Bt16,000-Bt25,000, according to the company’s latest study.
According to a sample group of 138,630 new graduates nationwide who are users of JobThai.com, the top 3 most-applied jobs among new bachelor graduates are purchasing/administration 15.3 per cent, followed by production/QA&QC and engineering, both 9.2 per cent.
For the vocational field, the top 3 most-applied jobs are Technicians 23.3 per cent followed by purchasing/administration and production/QA&QC at 15.8 per cent.

JobThai.com’s co-founder and chief operating officer Sangduan Tangthamsatid said that it is expected to have more than 468,000 new graduates nationwide this year according to the Labour Market Information Administration Division, Department of Employment. JobThai.com has collected data of 138,630 new graduates using JobThai.com. The bachelor graduates and vocational graduates are 120,000 and 18,630 respectively.
Moreover, JobThai.com has shared survey results from 480 human resources professionals of various organisations under the topic of “Problems from working with the new gens”. The majority of the organisations share the same top 5 issues: 1) the new generations often change jobs 2) the new generations are not patient and cannot work well under the pressure or criticism 3) self-adjustment in the professional world 4) high self-confidence 5) discipline. Therefore, not only the statistical data of job searching but also the five mentioned issues should be taken into consideration by the new graduates who are entering the working world. Also, they should be ready to develop and improve themselves.
