McDonald’s unveils staff uniforms

Hester Chew, chairman of executive committee and chief executive of McThai Co. Ltd, introduces new uniforms of McDonald’s crew members in Thailand. The company says the uniforms have “a chic design and enable flexibility”. The uniforms will be provided to staff in McDonald’s restaurants nationwide from August 1.

Maybank Kim Eng Securities boosts Thai research team

Maybank Kim Eng Securities’ (Thailand) research team blends youth and experience in offering research via four new products that are designed to meet the needs of investors. The innovations developed by the Maybank Kim Eng regional and in-house team “take into account the requirements of investors in the Thailand 4.0 era by providing easy access to additional information channels, ensuring investors can stay updated anytime, anywhere”, the company said.
Sukit Udomsirikul, managing director and head of research for Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand) Plc, said the company offered “a full range of products and services that include a strong research team, packed with brilliant strategists, fundamental analysts,” and technical specialists. 
“We will open up a new dimension of stock analysis using a new and unprecedented style of research that will better meet the needs of investors,” he said.

Thai Smile adds flights to three domestic routes

THAI Smile increases flights on three routes – Krabi, Udon Thani and Ubon Ratchathani, giving passengers more convenience in choosing time to fly Thai Smile Airways has announced the introduction of additional flights on three domestic routes to “give passengers more convenience and more flights to choose from, while responding to the demands of its increasing number of passengers”. The additional flights are: 
Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) – Krabi, now at four flights a day. The new flights are WE241 (8-9.20am) Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) – Krabi and WE242 (10.10-11.30am) Krabi - Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi).
 Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) - Udon Thani, increased to five flights a day. The new flights are WE014 (6.40-7.45am) Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) - Udon Thani and WE015 (8.15-9.20am) Udon Thani – Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi). The flights are available only on Thursdays, starting from July 27 to September 28.
Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) - Ubon Ratchathani, increased to four flights a day. The new flights are WE030 (4.10-5.15pm) Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) - Ubon Ratchathani and WE031 (6.05-7.10pm) Ubon Ratchathani - Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi). The flights operate only on Fridays, starting from July 28 to September 29. 

Breeze detergent shines at awards

Breeze, a detergent brand led by Pattra Dormann, marketing manager at Unilever Thai Trading Ltd, received a Brand Footprint Award in the category of homecare products from Banjongjitt Angsusingh, director of the General Department of Business Development. The Brand Footprint Awards 2017 event was organised by Kantar Worldpanel (Thailand) Co, a leader specialising in consumer behaviour through surveys based on consumer panel research covering over 22.2 million households in Thailand. The company uses a metric called CRP, or Consumer Reach Points, to collect information on both household and consumer expenditures.
Breeze is the only brand in the category of homecare products that has been awarded the Brand Footprint Award three years in a row. “This is a reflection of confidence, popularity and trust that consumers have in Breeze because of its efficient business practices that aim to elevate the quality of consumer’s life,” the company said. “In addition, the brand meets various requirements including hygiene, sustainability, long lasting and fabulous fragrance loved by all Thais.”
