Shinawatras must solve rice dependence when they return to power
Re: “PM warns against mobilising Yingluck’s supporters”, The Nation, yesterday.
What should Yingluck do now? Find a real solution to the rice problem. Find a way to move farmers away from growing rice and onto other agricultural products. Maybe if she had done this from day one, she would not be in such a bad position. She was only after the votes, not truly trying to help the people.
