Chilling at sunset

Chilling at sunset

Movenpick Siam Hotel Na Jomtien Pattaya is introducing a wellness-inspired sunset ritual with the launch of al-fresco Sunset Thai Massage treatments.

The treatments harness the ancient therapeutic powers of traditional Thai massage and embrace the beauty of the tranquil shoreline as the sun goes down, creating a gentle light that gently soothes the senses.

Experienced therapists from the resort’s Wave Spa use traditional Thai massage techniques to relax and rejuvenate the whole body. Wearing light cotton spa clothes, guests let their bodies relax and their minds unwind as they recline in a cabana where can feel the breeze and listen to the waves while enjoying privacy.

Overlooking the waters of the Gulf of Siam, Wave Spa treats the body and mind with natural marine products and the finest botanical ingredients. Packages for individuals and couples include facials, whirlpool baths, body scrubs and body wraps to brighten the skin, as well as Thai, aromatherapy, deep-tissue, Swedish and Thai herbal compress massage therapy, all mindfully delivered in six individually and artistically designed treatment rooms.

“At Wave Spa, our treatments and services complement the Movenpick philosophy of creating luxurious experiences defined by high quality and the beauty of the natural setting,” said Marc Sittl, the hotel’s general manager.

“The Sunset Thai Massage is an ideal addition to any beachside break.”

To extend the feeling of deep relaxation, guests can enjoy a pre- or post-massage swim in the resort’s attractive lagoon swimming pool set amidst tropical greenery and looking out over the beach and ocean. A workout in the resort’s fully equipped fitness centre adds to the health and wellness options and sense of holiday wellbeing.

Sunset Thai Massages are offered on the beach between 5-7pm daily and cost Bt1,200 net for 60 minutes. Advanced reservations are required.
