SET investment expo highlights innovative services

SET senior executive vice president Rinjai Chakornpipat said that nowadays information and technology have been playing a vital role in investors’ daily lives. “The use of social media and internet has been used in investment and reached a point where pretty much most of our investment is accessible with a touch of a button,” Rinjai said. 
As of September, the number of online stock trading accounts on SET has increased to 1.86 million, representing 87 per cent of the total 2.13 million securities trading accounts. “To enhance investor knowledge and to equip investors with the latest financial technology for investment, SET in the City 2017, joined by around 100 leading organisations in the capital market, is aimed at showcasing cutting-edge financial technology for investment tools and to provide viewpoints and knowledge from experts on financial planning and investment,” Rinjai said. The event will be held at Royal Paragon Hall, on the fifth floor of the Siam Paragon shopping mall.
