Bumper turn-out for Motor Expo

A total of 55 automobile (35 car and 20 motorcycle) companies are ready to take part in this year’s Thailand International Motor Expo at Muangthong Thani from November 30 to December 11.
The event, which kicks off the year-end auto-buying season, will feature a collection of new models as well as special promotions as auto companies attempt to maximize sales by the year’s end.
Organizer Kwanchai Paphatphong said 40,000 orders are expected to be placed for cars and another 7,000 for big bikes.
“The Motor Expo will welcome about 1.5 million visitors, generating over Bt50 billion in commercial transactions, because the event is taking place at the best time of the year,” he said.
Auto brands include Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Foton, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Jaguar, Kia, Land Rover, Lexus, Maserati, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MG, MINI, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Rayttle, Rolls-Royce, Subaru, Suzuki, Tata, Thaina, Toyota and Volvo, plus BMW M Performance, Carlsson, MOKE, M’Z Speed and Swift.
Motorcycle brands include Aprilia, Benalli, BMW, Ducati, GPX, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Bigbike, Kawasaki, KTM, Lifan, Moto Guzzi, Piaggio, Royal Enfield, Ryuka, Moto Parilla, Suzuki, Triumph, UDA, Vespa and Yamaha.
