Special night out with Bualuang Exclusive
Bangkok Bank credit cardholders recently enjoyed a memorable night at a special party for Bualuang Exclusive customers holding a Bangkok Bank Visa Infinite credit card at the Mandarin Oriental’s Regency Room next to the Chao Phraya River with a menu laid on by chef Dominique Bugnand.
The “Bualuang Exclusive Night under the Moonlight” was hosted by Pochanee Kongkalai, executive vice president - Relations and Sales Management and her guests were delighted by the Thai contemporary menu inspired by Bangkok Bank’s Lotus symbol. The dinner started with an appetiser of Butter-filled pea jelly with smoked trout, crispy lotus root, and yuzu cream and followed with double boiled prawn consomme. Guests then tucked into a choice of seared seabass with pumpkin flower and roasted, caramelised seeds and Chiang Mai vanilla white wine sauce or Braised beef cheek, carrot and purple potatoes and braised shallot with Monsoon Valley red wine sauce. Dessert was a sinful Pandanus white chocolate lotus with a creamy mango gel.
Customers also enjoyed music by Narongrit Tosa-nga of “Hom Rong” fame. He played a combination of traditional sounds and joined the Jazz of Siam band for a rendition of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol’s compositions “Klai Roong” (“Near Dawn”), “Saeng Tien” (“Candlelight Blues”)” and “Kwam Fun Un Soong Sood” (“The Impossible Dream”).
