Mazda expects yearly sales up 20% over last year

Mazda sales in Thailand have risen by 56 per cent, marking a two-year high of 5,017 units in November, the company said in a statement.

The Mazda2 is now the top-selling model in the subcompact market, it added, with sales of 3,235 units last month, growing by almost 100 per cent.
In November, Mazda also launched the new CX-5 SUV, which has already won over 2,000 orders, with almost 600 units delivered to customers.
From January to November, the company sold 45,098 vehicles in the country, up 19 per cent compared to the corresponding period last year.
Mazda Sales (Thailand) Co Ltd president Chanchai Trakarnudonsuk said Mazda expects to sell more than 50,000 vehicles in Thailand this by the end of the year, up 20 per cent compared to 2016.
