Yuenyong “Ad” Ophakul, frontman of legendary songs-for-life band Carabao, pays home to his nephew, rock star Artiwara “Toon” Kongmalai of Bodyslam with the new song “Kongmalai”.

Toon has just completed his 2,191-kilometre charity run under the campaign, “Kao Kon La Kao” (“Take One Step Each”) and raised more than Bt1 billion for 11 Thai hospitals.
“I got the inspiration from running with Toon during his stop in his hometown in Suphan Buri. I was most impressed by the number of fans who turned out wearing garlands made of banknotes to donate to him. The song, which coincidentally takes Toon’s last name, Kongmalai, is actually about the flower garland,” Ad Carabao explains.
