Expo offers unique chance to enter giant China market
A China International Import Expo (CIIE) is to be held for the first at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai in November.
With an exhibition area covering more than 59 acres (240,000 square metres), CIIE signals the Chinese government's latest push towards a new era of high-level opening-up and is an important landmark in the ongoing opening of the Chinese market to the world.
The Expo will also present an historic opportunity for companies across the world to take their first steps towards entering the huge Chinese market, according to a CIIE statement on Monday.
The event, from November 5 to 10, is expected to attract about 150 thousand professional purchasers from more than 100 countries.
