An attempt at self-deception
If Robin Grant and Dr Frank really don’t think it’ss wrong to eat meat, then why are they always defending themselves? Look at it this way:
Suppose for some insane reason people started writing letters to The Nation saying it’s immoral that I wear a blue hat. I would just laugh and not even bother to respond. So why aren’t Frank and Grant laughing?They’re not trying to convince us that they’re right, they’re trying to convince themselves. And the fact that they keep writing these ridiculous letters means that so far they haven’t succeeded.
