This junta is no friend of democracy
Was there anyone who did not understand that the junta is doing everything to make itself stronger?
Since taking power, the junta has shown only lip service to returning to democracy.
Everything related to democracy has been very carefully destroyed – remember the plaque? It was dedicated to Thai democracy and vanished!
If the junta truly wanted democracy, protests and questions from the public about its activities would be allowed. There would be a free press and there would be no interrogations or mysterious disappearances.
