Rebuttals curiously absent
Astonishing how Pike in his letter last week about the demise of Western civilisation under the Frankfurt School confirms my point that he never replies to his lies and falsehoods being exposed.
Instead of answering my proof of how Pike deceives readers by asserting that the FS “ignores or denies facts”, he tries to divert attention (classic Trump tactic) by giving a superficial expose of FS goals and objectives.
Pike accuses me of not mentioning these objectives. Of course not, as my letter was not meant to elaborate on the philosophy of the FS but only sought to give enough information to enable the reader to judge for himself whether the accusation of ignoring or denying facts was preposterous. To use this accusation to disqualify the writings by Frank (alleged by Pike to be a member of the FS, which he isn’t) is therefore ridiculous.
To quote an 87-year-old statement by Horkheimer is falsifying the modern FS from Adorno, Habermas. The goals and objectives have considerably changed, as a quick study can confirm.
Last but not least, the connection made by Pike between the ills in this world and the FS takes my breath away and is easily the most outrageous statement I had ever the displeasure to read. With this, Pike proves his disturbing state of mind and the delusional world he lives in.
