The Mouse roars again
Disney characters adorn the new bags, clothes and ceramics from Cath Kidston
Cath Kidston has once again collaborated with Disney to create a new edition of fashion gear, kidswear and home decor featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Pluto and Mr and Mrs Duck – Donald and Daisy.
Kidston’s design team has put its most popular motifs, like Button Spot and Spitalfields Rose, among the Disney cartoon gang in attractive shades of red, slate grey and dust blue.

Art Deco Mickey and Minnie drawings from the 1920s appear in the Bouquet line against a background of Spitalfield Rose in pink, yellow and blue.
The Mickey and Friends Button Spot adorns crockery and “modern vintage” clothes, including slate grey earthenware and red tea dresses.
The lively Breton stripe pattern meets Mickey and Daisy in the Placement collection of ceramic mugs and leather lozenge and satchel bags, Mickey making his cheeky wink.

Mickey and Minnie Patches utilises archive prints and places Mickey and friends among scattered stars, fresh strawberries and blooming blossoms.
The Ditsy selection boasts miniature blooms in soft blue, pale pink and light grey, while the Mickey and Guards design evokes charming London with Mickey marching alongside the Queen’s Guard.
