Treasures of the past need protection

I was hoping that some government body would consider preserving and restoring places like this; they could be tourist attractions like Jim Thompson House.
Bangkok needs these places, not only department stores, which don’t interest all tourists . The night market was destroyed, I hope Chatuchak survives.
