Seeing through the racist’s favourite disguise
I now know that “Alf Haupt” has deliberately gotten the wrong end of the stick. Constantly joining unrest and negativity with the word “Muslim” leaves an impression with impressionable readers, as he very well knows whether he truly eats halal chicken or not.
You don’t read much, if anything, from him about all the other extremists. One thing he needs to do is provide a sense of balance, which he consistently does not. That, for me, speaks volumes.
He even almost unbelievably uses that tired old cop-out “some of my best friends are…” – a well-known device used frequently by racists and their fellow travellers to avoid deserved criticism. Get this, “Haupt”, from one of our greatest presidents: “You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.” Especially when your past posts speak for themselves.
