A people’s president, following in the footsteps of Lincoln
People have forgotten Donald Trump’s reality show, “The Apprentice”. If a candidate failed to perform for the company, they were fired – or quit before they became embarrassed.
As for party politics, many Trump supporters cheer when the Republic Party objects to his actions.
The People elected Trump because they knew he was a maverick and would do his damnedest to give the people what they wanted.
In the US, the federal government is “of the people, by the people and for the people”, or else it has no reason for existence.
