Trump is winning ugly – job figures and North Korea prove it
The manager of Manchester United, Jose Mourinho, famously said, “I don’t play pretty – I play to win.” That in a nutshell is Donald Trump. Statements that he is not fit to be president are simply absurd.
Many economic figures can be manipulated and fudged. One statistic that cannot be manipulated, though, is the jobless claims every week. This is the number of people who come forward and claim unemployment in the United States. This statistic sank to a 48-year low last month. While Trump is certainly not pretty, he is highly effective. He does the right things. He won’t get credit for North Korea, but the wheels of denuclearisation are in motion.
