Trend Micro offers better security with TippingPoint TX
Trend Micro has unveiled the TippingPoint TX Series, which ensures integrated, advanced threat prevention by strengthening the intelligence supporting Trend Micro’s Smart Protection Network (SPN) to detect and block known, unknown and undisclosed attacks in-line in real time.
It also considers the reputation of user-added URL entries to make sure they’re not malicious.
An Advanced Threat Analysis feature further integrates with Deep Discovery to immediately forward suspicious objects, including URLs, to be analysed and remedied.
“The TippingPoint TX Series has the best kind of security products, especially in 8200TX and 8400TX, that carry an unprecedented 40Gbps of intrusion prevention in a one rack unit,” said Piyatida Tantrakul, country manager for Trend Micro (Thailand).
“Trend Micro is the first to deliver this level of performance in a small physical footprint, and the Gartner Magic Quadrant report has raised it to a higher leader group within just one year.
“This new kind of TippingPoint also has the new flexible licensing model – a much-anticipated hardware refresh – so customers can easily scale performance and security requirements with a pay-as-you go approach, such as starting at basic level, 5Gbps, and can be reassigned licences to 10 or 40Gbps depending on organisation growth without changing their network infrastructure.”
