Judge all by same standard
Often critics of Israel are called Jew-haters even when the critics are Jewish! That reminds me of when people said you were racist if you thought OJ Simpson was guilty of murder.
Personally, I withheld judgement on Simpson until I reviewed the evidence. When I did I no longer had the slightest doubt that he was guilty.
If we believe Jews and blacks should be respected as individual human beings then that means we judge them by the same standards as we would any other human beings. Thus we should no more hesitate to criticise someone who is black or Jewish than we would to criticise someone who isn’t. In other words, to assume that someone is automatically good just because he’s black or Jewish is just as bigoted as to assume he’s automatically bad.
