KRABI BID OPENS FOR BUILDING AIRPORT PARKING AREA
The Department of Airports of the Transport Ministry will open biding for the construction of a parking area, worth Bt1.2 billion, at Krabi International Airport today (June 15), the department’s director-general Darun Saengchai said yesterday.
He added that the project will expand capacity of the airport in order to meet the projected rise in the number of flights from 14 to 40 a day.
The number of passengers has increased from four million to eight million a year.
