Man in exile not a genuine Thai

I couldn’t agree more with Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha when he told a former Thai leader who is in exile abroad – far, far away from Thai laws – to return and fight his corruption cases like a legitimate Thai would.
As a Thai who was born and has lived here for over seven decades, I feel angry every time this person says Thailand is his home and he loves it.
If this person thinks he is Thai, he should return and face whatever consequences await him here. He should respect Thai laws like any other Thai would.
And, by the way, if he has become a “citizen of the world” as he claims, and is super-wealthy as a result of that, why is he still treating his homeland as if it were his and his family’s indispensable cash cow?
