More dirt in the pipeline, but enough to bury Trump?

More dirt in the pipeline, but enough to bury Trump?

Re: “Trump’s hideous legal landscape just got even worse”, CNN, August 25.

Supporters of Donald Trump on this page might find this news unpalatable: In the past week alone, investigation into possible Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential election has made huge progress.
Paul Manafort, former Trump campaign chairman, has been convicted on eight felonies relating to fraud. And Michael Cohen, Trump’s long-time attorney and fixer, pleaded guilty to eight criminal offences relating to fraud.
More bad news ahead: Trump’s money-man, Allen Weisselberg, is being offered “full immunity” to tell federal prosecutors all he knows about the Trump Organisation’s financial transactions.
This means Weisselberg will not be put in jail even if he has committed a crime while he was working for Trump. Prosecutors believe there is very little about the Trump Organisation’s financial transactions that Weisselberg doesn’t know.
If all that isn’t bad enough, David Pecker, publisher of the National Inquirer, has also cut a deal with federal prosecutors to be granted full immunity.
The tabloid has been criticised for burying stories about Trump’s dalliances with Playboy model Karen McDougal and pornographic actress Stormy Daniels.
Hence, Trump’s fans should expect more bad news ahead.
