Chemnitz – an omen for the future

Chemnitz – an omen for the future

Re: “A knifing inflames hysteria against immigrants”, Opinion, September 5.

More mainstream media distortion – here’s what actually happened.  A man was murdered by Muslim migrants, and ordinary Germans decided they’d had enough. Several thousand people, mainly grey-haired and middle-aged, participated in a solemn mourning march bearing photos of loved ones who have succumbed to migrant violence.  As sure as night follows day, several thousand Antifa and other left-wing thugs attacked the march and not wanting to be left out, some neo-Nazis joined in the fray.  True to form, the MSM seize on the latter to discredit the whole event.
Then came the political fall-out. Foreign Minister Heiko Maas voiced his support for the lefties. Chemnitz mayor Barbara Ludwig said, “we won’t allow for the right and right-wing thinking to undermine the state”.
And there you have it, played out daily in the crime-ridden failing states of Western Europe. The government ignores the primary issue, namely its self-created migrant crisis, and attacks the secondary issue, namely the complaining victims, who are branded racists and nazis. Official statistics reveal that migrant crime is rocketing; almost half of all crime in Berlin is perpetrated by migrants. The victims suffer a ‘triple-whammy’ of persecution – from the migrants, the left-wing thugs, and the state itself. I have checked multiple media sources and find not a single word of regret for the death of the original victim, Daniel Hillig, forgotten in the orgy of virtue-signalling
When avenues to justice are denied by the state, an oppressed population will take to the streets as a last resort, and I fear that we shall see many more Chemnitz events.  Since no one else can be bothered to say it, I will – Daniel Hillig, may you rest in peace.
