Allah has His eye on Saudi Arabia

Allah has His eye on Saudi Arabia

Re: “Growing scepticism of Saudi account on Khashoggi’s death”, World, and “The crown prince must go,” Opinion, October 22.

I’d like to share some thoughts on the murder of Mr Jamal Khashoggi. (Hereafter I’ll call him Mr K.) They say the Saudi crown prince, Mr MBK or something like that (I have trouble with acronyms), may have ordered his killing. I’ve seen Mr MBK on TV, and frankly, he looks a little sinister.
My brother Tom used to work in Saudi Arabia, and he says they chop the heads off murderers at a place called Chop-chop Square. If Mr MSG or whatever his name is can be proven to have ordered the murder of Mr K, would it not be reasonable to expect him to be sentenced to a one-way trip to Chop-chop Square? According to Tom, that would be traditional Islamic justice.
Now, this Mr MVP is the crown prince, so even if he is guilty it may be naive of me to expect that they will chop his head off. But if he’s guilty, and they don’t, what does that say about Islamic justice in Saudi Arabia?
I understand that the Saudis worship Allah. Allah will be watching all this. Allah presumably has an interest in seeing that justice is done. I should think the Saudis would be very much afraid of what Allah might do if Mr MSNBC does not receive justice in the case of Mr K. Allah might get so angry that he would topple the current dynasty, or make all the oil dry up, or smite them with war or natural disasters. And where is the Saudi clergy in all of this? Why don’t they speak up? It looks to me like somebody needs to have his bottom spanked. Maybe a whole bunch of people.
Those are just a few thoughts. I hope they’ll help, even though I’m just an old farang woman who doesn’t know much about anything.
