Surge in number of firms registering in EEC
The number of newly registered firms in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) was up by 6.75 per cent in the first 11 months of the year compared to the same period last year, Wuttikrai Leeveeraphan, director-general at the Business Development Department of the Commerce Ministry, said on Monday.
With 6,645 firms registering so far this year, the total number of firms in the EEC area rose to 66,700 with total registered capital of Bt183 trillion, he said.
