Meat not sole cause of climate woes, but major
Again, because Robin Grant can’t dispute my arguments, he distorts what I wrote. I didn’t say the livestock industry is the only cause of global warming.
Rather, it’s the No 1 cause of it. Scientists were quoted in the magazine Nature as saying we must cut back on our consumption of meat by 90 per cent to reverse global warming. So, while it’s true we all in some ways contribute to global warming, we could reduce it to acceptable levels by changing our diet. But Robin Grant has made it clear (and I’m not just talking about vegetarianism) that his personal pleasure and self-indulgences are the only things that matter to him in his selfish life.
