Real live mermaid at Sea Life Bangkok
Sea Life Bangkok at Siam Paragon is marking Chinese New Year from February 1 to 8 with lion and mermaid dances, lucky red envelopes and 30percent off the price of admission for everyone born in the Year of the Pig.
The worldclass aquarium also offers the underwater show “Mermaids” inspired by the Thai literary epic “Phra Aphai Mani”. The title character will be swimming alongside the reallife sea creatures while a lion dance fills the corridors.
There will be lion and mermaid dances four times daily, at 11.45pm, 2pm, 3.30pm and 4.45pm, at the end of the Ocean Tunnel in the Thai Iconic Zone, by the Phra Aphai Mani sculpture.
