Deluded or deliberate?
Roland Watson’s letter, if it is not satire, would mean either Donald Trump is a puppet of Vladimir Putin or Mr Watson suffers from political derangement syndrome. Of course readers must decide for themselves which of these scenarios is more likely.
Alas, the letter contained no facts in support of Mr Watson’s hysterical derision and therefore reads much better as a poorly executed satire. It is worth noting that hysteria is either uncontrollably amusing or uncontrollably irrational. I am still trying to decide – satire, syndrome or just plain stupid?
