In the Bangkok smog, a dirty truth about our government

In the Bangkok smog, a dirty truth about our government

It ought to be apparent to the poor, ordinary working citizens of the world that the lack of free healthcare, free education, cheap available housing and a comprehensive public transport system is a measure of our importance to ruling governments.

The pollution of our air, water and land, the availability of manufactured goods, the lack of any control on advertising, and the endless burning of fossil fuels clearly shows that business and the production of wealth are where governments’ interests lie.
The need for breathable air in Bangkok was overcome years ago by the need for ever-more millions for the insatiably wealthy. It is no accident that the world’s big cities are full of pollution: it’s all about wealth and profit.
