Darwin relished investigating other species – with his fork
Re: “Darwin also discovered that all animals are one family”, Have Your Say, yesterday.
Jenny Moxham cites Charles Darwin in claiming that Homo sapiens and other animal species are essentially the same, with the same mental faculties. The fact that many animal species, including Homo sapiens, kill other animals in order to survive tends to support this view.
So what’s all the fuss about? We human carnivores are just following the example of our brothers and sisters in the animal kingdom.
This debate has surely run its course.
