Does Army chief have no regrets over massacre in 1976?

Does Army chief have no regrets over massacre in 1976?

I should like to express my deep dismay and disgust at General Apirat Kongsompon’s suggestion that an old song of hate against his own people should be revived and played ad nauseam.

I am surprised that a man of his position and seniority has not come to reflect on the past, and has no doubts or regrets about the massacre of unarmed students in 1976.
The photos of this mass murder are there for all to see and contemplate, but this does not seem to move him.
If a similar event should take place today, Apirat would find himself at the International Criminal Court in the Hague facing charges of crimes against humanity.
