Nation newspaper right to take stand against Nation TV’s bias 

I applaud your newspaper for having the courage and objectivity to point out the biases in your “sister” organisation, Nation TV. Let me be clear, I am not a fan of Thaksin or any of his cohorts but I do insist that news media should maintain their integrity and professionalism to the highest journalism standards! Nation TV managing director Chatchai Pokogwai was wrong to say that the station was just doing its job and reporting what was happening. Any reputable news organisation would have checked its sources before broadcasting such information. Also, Nation TV should have made a full disclosure (just as the Washington Post regularly does regarding its relationship with Jeff Bezos) that it is owned by relatives of an MP candidate in the Phalang Pracharath Party.
