Dress code for the Orwellian dystopia

Dress code for the Orwellian dystopia

Re: “US Supreme Court to hear case on vulgar trademark”, World, April 16.

Two clothing brands – one called Phuc, which is a line of innocuous sportswear, and one called Fuct, which is a line of streetwear bearing anti-government and irreligious slogans – one gets its trademark registered and one doesn’t. Guess which?
In Have Your Say in the same edition, I delivered a rant against the loss of freedom of expression as Orwell’s dystopia becomes reality. I was unaware that it also applied to clothing. We’re all Fuct.
