Alternative universe of conspiracy theorists shockingly funny
Is it possible that there is an alternative world that JC Wilcox inhabits that most of us don’t? I read his letters only for the laugh, or should I say shock, of what he comes up with next.
His world’s media are a socialist cabal consisting, quite strangely, of some of the world’s wealthiest people, who must be shocked at the knowledge that their ideology is socialism. He identifies anti-Trump feeling in the US as Marxist, with more of the world’s richest being deemed guilty of wild communist behaviour and internet titans Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates and Larry Page identified as the new Marxist problem. I am sure these people and the likes of Michael Bloomberg, Jeff Bezos and Rupert Murdoch would be absolutely stunned to find their acquisition of vast amounts of money and media is now described as communism.
Seems to me that George Orwell didn’t believe in quite the same conspiracies and wild theories that Mr Wilcox does, but it does make for a good chuckle over the morning’s toast.
