Greenlight for BMTA’s loan for 2020 budget
The cabinet meeting yesterday approved Bangkok Mass Transit Authority(BMTA ) request for a Bt11 billion loan as cash flow for its 2020 financial budget of Bt11.31 billion, Transport Minister Arkhom Termpittayapaisith said after a cabinet meeting yesterday.
He added that the Finance Ministry will guarantee the loan which will reduce BMTA's interest rate cost by about Bt31.28 million a month or Bt255.43 million a year.
Meanwhile, the cabinet also approved an investment of Bt2.63 billion for the construction of the fifth stage of the Thai-Laos Partnership Bridge from Bueng Kan province of Thailand to Borikhamsai in Laos, he said.
