Without his big stick, how long can PM Prayut last?

Without his big stick, how long can PM Prayut last?

So the Democrat Party has decided to, oh well, move the country forward” and get into bed with Phalang Pracharat. What a surprise!

In the meantime, I congratulate General Prayut for continuing to serve as PM for at least eight more years. I also suggest that his advisers hire a coach to improve his speaking skills, of which he has none. When he talks to the press or addresses the nation on TV, he resembles a Pentecostal preacher in a trance, speaking in tongues.
Remember, as a constitutionally elected PM (albeit undemocratically, because of his 250 handpicked senators), he no longer wields the big stick of Article 44. And he will now have to deal with fiery censure debates and boisterous opposition MPs who know his Achilles heel.
I want my PM to be cool, calm and articulate when the opposition grills him. What chance of that?
