Palad khik – proof that size really does matter

A phallic symbol, a badge of fertility and potency, is always presented as an image of an erect penis, not of a limp one. That’s why it is always in an upright position. You’ve never seen a “prone” phallic symbol, have you? 
Ye Olde Pedant obviously doesn’t know that the foreskin is retractable, well, except for a man with phimosis. As a result, a normal uncircumcised penis will “open” at the top and look exactly like a circumcised one when it achieves full erection.
Even though most Thai men are not circumcised, there is no need to add a foreskin to phallic symbols in Thailand. It’s when one stands up that one is counted.
