Farewell to print edition of The Nation

Farewell to print edition of The Nation

At the risk of sounding corny, I must say that I feel a sense of loss; the end of the print version of The Nation makes me feel as though I am losing a part of my life here in Thailand.

Hundreds and hundreds of my mornings were spent in a most pleasurable manner, sipping a cafe latte and reading a fresh copy of The Nation. And over the years, each and every one of those copies was “insightful, in trend and independent”.
Thanks for the “Around Thailand” page, which was informative, sometimes shocking, and sometimes unintentionally hilarious. Thanks for the courageous editorials, the up-to-date, well-written articles and the lifestyle pages. And by the way, thank you for printing my letters, and the letters of other readers, often with accompanying photo captions.
At all costs, please keep the incomparable Stephff as part of The Nation family. He is an artistic and comedic talent of superlative ability. If he publishes a compilation of his work, I will be first in line to buy it.
And so, farewell.
To The Nation I say Chai Yo!
